Every Braintree job includes the full source-removal process, not a partial pass. Here is what is covered in the standard price, and what we treat as an add-on so there are no surprises on the invoice.
We clean every accessible supply and return run in your Braintree home, branch by branch, using a rotary brush and air whip under negative pressure. No run gets skipped because it is awkward to reach. If a section is sealed behind finished walls, we tell you and document it on camera.
The whole system stays under negative pressure while we work, so loosened debris travels straight into the HEPA vacuum instead of into your rooms. This is the difference between real duct cleaning and a brush that just knocks dust loose into your living space.
We run a duct camera through the main runs at the start and again at the end. You watch both passes on the tablet with us. It is the clearest proof that the job was done, and it often reveals problems like disconnected flex duct that nobody knew about.
After the debris is out, we fog the system with an antimicrobial spray to address mold growth in ducts and the musty smell that comes with it. It reaches the interior surfaces a brush cannot scrub, and it is safe for occupied homes once it dries.
Every register cover and return grille gets wiped down before we put it back. It sounds small, but those covers hold a surprising amount of dust and dander, and leaving them dirty undoes half the work you just paid for.
The blower wheel collects dust and pet dander accumulation faster than almost any other part of the system. We clean the accessible blower compartment while the ducts are open, which improves airflow and takes strain off the motor.
Airduct cleaning near me in Braintree is the process of removing dust, pet dander, mold spores, and construction debris from every supply and return run in your home's duct system, then sanitizing the interior so it stays clean. We hook a negative air machine to the main trunk, agitate each branch with a rotary brush and air whip, and vacuum the whole system through a HEPA vacuum. Nothing gets blown into your living room.
Braintree homes deal with a specific mix: older capes and colonials near Braintree Center with original sheet metal ducts, newer builds around Skyline Park with flex duct, and plenty of homes running forced hot air through damp basements. That combination traps dust buildup and feeds mold growth in ducts during humid summers. If you have been hunting for duct cleaning close to me Braintree because someone in the house keeps sneezing, the ducts are usually the first place to look.
We follow the NADCA source-removal standard on every job. Here is exactly what happens from the moment we pull up to the moment we pack the truck.

Guarantee
Every job backed by a written workmanship warranty — and we stand behind it.
Negative air machine
Keeps the entire duct system under negative pressure during cleaning, so loosened debris travels to the vacuum instead of into your living space. It is the single most important piece of equipment on a duct cleaning job.
HEPA vacuum
Captures the dust, dander, and debris the negative air machine pulls out of your system. HEPA filtration traps particles down to 0.3 microns, which is what keeps fine dust from cycling back into the air.
Rotary brush and air whip
Mechanically scrubs the interior walls of each duct run. The rotary brush handles metal duct, and the air whip works through flex duct without damaging the liner. Together they loosen the buildup that a vacuum alone cannot move.
Compressed air nozzle
Used on the main trunk lines to push debris toward the vacuum collection point. It reaches sections a brush cannot navigate and helps clear the heavier buildup that settles at the bottom of horizontal runs.
Duct camera
Lets us see inside the system before and after cleaning, and lets you see it too. It is how we find disconnected flex duct, crushed runs, and mold growth that would otherwise stay hidden behind walls.
Fogger
Applies antimicrobial spray evenly through the entire duct system after cleaning. It reaches the interior surfaces a brush cannot scrub, which is what addresses mold growth in ducts and the musty smell that comes with it.
Dryer vent brush
Clears lint from the full length of the dryer vent, from the appliance connection to the exterior hood. A clogged dryer vent is a fire risk, and this is a quick add-on to any duct cleaning job.
NADCA source removal standard
The industry standard for duct cleaning, and the one we follow on every job. It means physically removing the contaminants from the system rather than sealing them in or blowing them around. Source removal is what actually improves air quality and airflow.
Negative pressure containment
We seal the negative air machine to the main trunk and tape off every register except the one being worked. The whole system stays under negative pressure for the duration of the job, which is what keeps debris out of your home.
Branch-by-branch agitation
We clean one run at a time, agitating with the rotary brush or air whip while the vacuum pulls debris out. Working systematically means no run gets skipped and each one gets the same level of attention.
Antimicrobial fogging after cleaning
Once the debris is out, we fog the system with an antimicrobial spray. It is applied after cleaning, not instead of it, because spraying a dirty duct just seals the problem in place. Order matters here.
Before-and-after camera documentation
We record the duct camera pass at the start and again at the end of every job. You watch both on the tablet. It is how we hold ourselves to the standard, and it is how you know the work was actually done.
01
What we do: Post-construction duct cleaning clears the drywall dust and sawdust that renovation work pushes into your duct system. We clean every run under negative pressure and fog the system afterward. We recommend booking this before you turn the HVAC back on, not after.
→ Your system starts clean instead of circulating construction dust through the house for months. Most customers notice the difference in air quality within a day.
02
What we do: We clean the dust, pet dander, and mold spores out of every run, then apply an antimicrobial spray. We also check that your HEPA filter is seated properly and that the filter housing is sealed, since gaps there let unfiltered air bypass the filter entirely.
→ Fewer airborne particles in the rooms where you sleep. Braintree customers with allergy sufferers often report easier mornings within the first week.
03
What we do: We start with a duct camera inspection so you can see the actual condition of the system. From there we clean every accessible run, wipe down the registers, and clean the blower compartment. You get before-and-after footage and a written summary of anything we flagged.
→ You know exactly what is in your ducts and what condition they are in, which takes one unknown off the list after a home purchase.
04
What we do: We schedule commercial work after hours or on weekends and keep the work area contained. The negative air machine stays on the system the whole time, so no dust reaches your retail or office space. Camera documentation is provided for your building records.
→ Clean ducts and a documented job without a single hour of lost business. Several South Shore property managers keep us on a recurring schedule for exactly this reason.
Braintree's housing stock shapes how we approach every job. Around Braintree Center and Braintree Highlands, a lot of homes date to the mid-20th century and still run original sheet metal duct work, which holds up well but collects decades of dust in the horizontal runs. Newer builds near Skyline Park and Liberty Park often use flex duct, which is easier to clean but more prone to sagging and trapping debris at low points. Add in the damp basements common across the South Shore and you get the mold growth in ducts we see on a large share of calls. Fall is our busiest season, because the first cold snap is when homeowners turn the heat on and smell the musty odor for the first time. If you are looking for air duct cleaning near me open now Braintree MA, we keep same-day slots open through the fall rush. Winter work focuses on airflow problems, and spring and summer calls usually come from allergy sufferers or post-renovation dust.
Braintree Center
Older capes and colonials with original sheet metal duct work. These systems clean up well but often need a second pass through the horizontal trunk runs where decades of dust have settled.
Skyline Park
Newer construction with flex duct throughout. Flex cleans quickly, but we watch for sagging sections where debris pools and for disconnected joints behind finished ceilings.
Braintree Highlands
A mix of mid-century homes and additions. Additions often mean duct work that was extended rather than redesigned, so we check airflow balance between the original house and the new space.
South Shore Plaza Area
Commercial and mixed-use buildings with larger trunk lines and multiple zones. We schedule this work after hours and provide camera documentation for building records.
East Braintree
Homes closer to the water tend to run slightly damper, which makes mold growth in ducts more likely. We pay extra attention to basement runs and any duct work in crawl spaces.
Damp basements feeding forced hot air systems
Moisture plus dust is what grows mold in ducts. Homes with unfinished or damp basements in Braintree see more musty odor complaints, and those systems benefit from antimicrobial fogging after cleaning.
Original sheet metal duct work in older homes
Sheet metal lasts, but the horizontal runs collect decades of dust. These jobs take longer because the buildup is heavier, and the rotary brush does most of the work before the vacuum pulls it out.
Flex duct in newer construction
Flex duct cleans faster but sags over time, and low points trap debris. We use the air whip rather than a stiff brush to avoid tearing the liner, and we check every joint for disconnection.
First cold snap in October
This is when Braintree homeowners turn the heat on and smell the ducts for the first time all year. Our call volume spikes, so we open extra same-day slots through late fall to keep up.
Most Braintree calls come down to one of a handful of problems. Here is what we find most often and how we fix it, whether you need a routine cleaning or emergency air duct cleaning near me Braintree Massachusetts.
Problem
That smell is usually mold growth in ducts or dust burning off the heat exchanger. Left alone, it spreads through the whole house and can aggravate allergies and asthma for everyone living there.
Our Fix
We remove the contaminated material with a rotary brush and negative air machine, then fog the system with an antimicrobial spray. In most Braintree homes the smell is gone the first time the furnace cycles after we leave. If a run is too far gone, we tell you it needs replacement rather than cleaning.
Problem
Dust blowing into a room means the duct system is loaded and the filter is not catching it. It settles on furniture, in bedding, and in the air your family breathes, and it usually gets worse over time.
Our Fix
We clean every supply and return run under negative pressure so the debris goes into our HEPA vacuum, not your living room. We also check the filter housing and access panels for gaps that let unfiltered air into the system, which is a common cause of recurring dust.
Problem
An HVAC airflow restriction from dust buildup on the blower wheel or a crushed flex duct can drop airflow to a room by 20 percent or more. You end up paying to heat and cool a room that never actually gets comfortable.
Our Fix
We clean the blower compartment and every accessible run, then run the duct camera to look for crushed or disconnected flex duct. When we find a restriction, we document it and tell you exactly what needs to happen next, whether that is a cleaning or a repair.
Problem
A dryer vent lint clog is one of the most common fire risks in Braintree homes. It also forces the dryer to run longer, which wears out the appliance faster and raises your electric bill.
Our Fix
We run a dryer vent brush through the full length of the vent and pull the lint out, then verify airflow at the exterior hood. It is a quick add-on to a duct cleaning job and one of the highest-value things you can do for home safety.
Clean ducts change how your house feels and how your HVAC system runs. Here is what Braintree customers notice most after we finish.
Better indoor air quality
A typical 1,800-square-foot Braintree home moves 1,500 to 2,000 cubic feet of air per minute through its ducts. Every pound of dust sitting in those runs gets recycled into the rooms you sleep in. Removing it cuts airborne particles and helps with allergy flare-ups, especially in bedrooms where you spend eight hours a night breathing.
Stronger HVAC airflow
When dust and pet dander accumulate on the blower wheel and coil, your system works harder to push the same air. A restricted return run can drop airflow by 20 percent or more. After cleaning, rooms that ran cold in winter and warm in summer often even out because the air actually reaches them.
No more musty odors
That smell when the heat first kicks on in October is usually dust burning off the heat exchanger plus mold growth in ducts downstream. We fog the system with an antimicrobial spray after cleaning. Most customers tell us the smell is gone the first time the furnace cycles after we leave.
Lower energy bills
A clean system moves air with less resistance, so the blower runs shorter cycles. Braintree customers on forced hot air commonly see a modest drop in winter gas use and summer electric use. It is not a miracle, but a clogged duct system is one of the cheapest efficiency problems to fix.

Called on a Tuesday, they were at my house Wednesday morning. The tech showed me the camera footage before and after, which no other company offered to do. Ducts in my 1960s colonial were full of dust. Flat quote, no surprises, and the house smells better.
Yelp ★★★★★4.8
We had a basement remodel and dust was blowing out of every register. ServantaCore came out the next day, cleaned the whole system, and told us to swap the filter twice in the first month. That level of detail is why I would call them again.
BBB ★★★★★4.9
Professional from the first phone call. They explained the negative air machine setup before starting, kept drop cloths down the whole time, and cleaned up after themselves. The dryer vent was packed with lint and they cleared it as part of the visit.
